On Saturday, 31 August 2024, Blatna Castle will be transformed into a mecca for lovers of automotive treasures for the fourth time in a row. The Concorso Castle Blatna, an exhibition of super sports cars, has grown in popularity and scope since its premiere in 2021.
This year’s event promises to be another spectacular experience. From 10:00 to 17:00, visitors will be able to admire some of the most exclusive luxury brands in the automotive world in the picturesque castle park of Blatna Castle. The beauty of the vehicles on display will be perfectly accentuated by the historical backdrop of the castle.
The event will be hosted by the well-known duo Petr Král and his son Filip Král. Together, they will present the impressive vehicles and their stories. A special highlight of the day will be the award ceremony: the winner of the Concorso Castle Blatna 2024 will receive the Baron Hildprandt Glass Cup, a unique work of art made in the South Bohemian glassworks by Petr Janský. The goblet combines the silhouette of the castle’s entrance tower with elements of Italian futurism.
Food and drink are also catered for: there is a food zone in the castle courtyard offering a variety of culinary delights. Younger visitors have also been catered for—a children’s zone with numerous fun activities awaits them in the castle park.
Admission to the event is CZK 300 per person. Young people aged 6 to 15 pay CZK 200, while children up to the age of 5, accompanied by an adult, are admitted free of charge. The capacity of the event is limited to 6,500 visitors. Tickets can be purchased online in advance.
