Etihad Airways to Launch Direct Flights from Prague to Abu Dhabi in June 2025

Etihad Airways will launch direct flights from Prague to Abu Dhabi starting June 2, 2025, re-establishing a connection between the Czech capital and the capital of the United Arab Emirates after nearly eleven years. The flights will operate four times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays—using a Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner that accommodates 270 passengers.

Jiří Pos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Václav Havel Airport Prague, commented: “We are very pleased that, after lengthy negotiations, we can now confirm the launch of this service by Etihad Airways. The Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner will land in Prague for the first time, and the frequency of four flights per week is a significant result of our negotiations. With this new connection, we are expanding our long-haul network and offering our passengers another important destination in the Middle East, with excellent connections to Asia, Africa, and Australia.”
