Action Hero Arnold Schwarzenegger Arrives in Prague for ‘Fubar’ Sequel

Arnold Schwarzenegger, one of the greatest action icons in film history, landed in Prague on Saturday. The 77-year-old Austrian actor and former governor of California is preparing for the filming of the second season of the Netflix series Fubar, which begins in Prague on Monday.

If there is one actor who is considered a true icon of 1980s and 1990s action films, it is undoubtedly Arnold Schwarzenegger. The 77-year-old Austrian superstar is currently attracting attention with his visit to Prague. Schwarzenegger landed at Václav Havel Airport on Saturday lunchtime and, according to Super.cz magazine, went straight to one of the most luxurious hotels in the heart of the city, accompanied by his security team.

The reason for his visit is the second season of the Netflix series Fubar, in which Schwarzenegger plays the leading role. In the series, he portrays a secret agent and family man. Filming for the new season begins on Monday in Prague, and he will once again be joined by Monica Barbaro (34), who plays his daughter.

A particular highlight of the new season is the addition to the cast: Carrie-Anne Moss (57), known from the cult sci-fi series The Matrix, where she played the role of Trinity, Neo’s true love, is also in Prague. In Fubar, she takes on the role of a former East German spy, adding even more star power to the series.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a legend of the film world. He will never be forgotten for his iconic roles such as the Terminator or Conan the Barbarian. Beyond the big screen, he has also made history as a bodybuilding champion, winning the title of Mr. Olympia seven times and Mr. Universe five times. He also left his mark on politics as Governor of California from 2003 to 2011.
