Behind the MINT Market is a dedicated group of organisers who have been curating successful design markets since 2010. This team is known for championing modern, sustainable goods at events across the Czech Republic. What began as a small gathering of enthusiasts wanting to showcase their own brands has evolved into a thriving alternative to shopping centres, offering a platform for more than 1,500 creatives and small businesses.
MINT Markets are now held regularly in over two dozen cities, known for their friendly, relaxed atmosphere and a wide variety of fair-trade, eco-friendly, organic, zero-waste, and upcycled products. These markets provide designers with an invaluable opportunity to display their creations to a wide audience without the need for a full-time commitment. “Supporting small and local brands has been one of the core values of our project from the very beginning,” says Lenka Šašková, one of the project’s founders.
In 2023, the MINT Market held a total of 48 events, covering 58 sales days, and in its 14-year history, over 350 events have been held, attracting more than 1.2 million visitors. The event continues to be a key platform for connecting passionate creators with enthusiastic shoppers, offering a unique and sustainable shopping experience.
With its lively atmosphere, incredible location, and dedication to sustainability, the MINT Market continues to be a must-visit event for design lovers. Whether you’re on the lookout for unique fashion, tasty treats, or eco-conscious products, the MINT Market is the place to be this September.
