Czech Republic Pushes for Legalization of Cannabis: Growing CBD Market

In recent weeks, the Czech Republic has made again headlines with its plans to legalize cannabis products, as well as their cultivation and use. However, it is currently only legal to purchase CBD products in the country.

In January 2022, the THC limit for all types of cannabis and cannabis products in the Czech Republic was raised to 1%. Since then, stronger CBD flowers have become available for purchase, as higher THC content in a strain generally means more CBD and terpenes are present as well.
