In addition to state-of-the-art technology, the Elroq impresses with its affordability and versatility.

Yesterday, Tuesday 1st October, Škoda Auto celebrated the world premiere of the brand-new Škoda Elroq model in Prague. With the Škoda Elroq, the curtain is raised on a groundbreaking model: it is the first fully electric vehicle from the Czech brand in the important compact SUV segment. At the same time, it is the first production model to fully implement the new Škoda design language, “Modern Solid,” which combines robustness, functionality, and authenticity.

“The new Škoda Elroq embodies our new design language, ‘Modern Solid,’ and takes exterior design to a new level with its striking Tech-Deck face and distinctive front bumper. Another characteristic feature is the Škoda wordmark on the bonnet of our new fully electric model. Accents in Unique-Dark-Chrome provide a cohesive finish. With its long range and robust construction, the Elroq is an ideal companion for the daily adventures of our customers. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it also fits perfectly into an urban environment,” says Karl Neuhold, Head of Exterior Design at Škoda Auto.

The Škoda Elroq offers a variety of powertrain and battery options, enabling a range of over 560 kilometres according to the WLTP cycle. The extensive standard equipment includes a rear-view camera, proactive occupant protection, lane-change and parking assist, as well as an exit warning system (Side Assist), a 13-inch infotainment screen, and SmartLink. The Elroq is the most affordable electric vehicle in its class on the European market, starting at around €33,000 before potential government incentives. This positions Škoda in many markets at a similar price point to the Škoda Karoq, the brand’s conventionally powered model.

The SUV can be configured from 2nd October, including a limited “First Edition” (Škoda Elroq First Edition 85 210 kW (286 PS): Energy consumption (combined): 15.2 – 16.6 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions (combined): 0 g/km; CO₂ efficiency class: A; preliminary values). The market launch in Europe is planned for the first quarter of 2025.
