Renáta Kellnerová, the heiress of the PPF Group, retains her position as the richest person in the Czech Republic. Daniel Křetínský, the owner of Energetický a průmyslový holding (EPH), has moved up to second place, while Karel Komárek, owner of the KKCG investment group, holds third place, according to the updated ranking published by Forbes magazine.
The latest ranking reveals interesting changes among the country’s wealthiest. Kellnerová remains at the top with a fortune of CZK 386 billion, an increase of CZK 8 billion compared to the previous year.
Daniel Křetínský, in second place, has seen his wealth rise by CZK 79 billion, bringing his total assets to CZK 290 billion, nearing the CZK 300 billion mark. Notably, he was ranked first in a separate list by the weekly magazine Euro in September.
Karel Komárek occupies third place with assets totaling CZK 215 billion, an increase of CZK 29 billion from last year.
Former Prime Minister and chairman of the ANO movement, Andrej Babiš, has experienced a significant decline. He has dropped two places to seventh and lost CZK 91 billion, leaving him with current assets of CZK 79 billion.
Aleš Zavoral, the founder of Alza.cz, has also fallen in the rankings. Last year, he was seventh, but this year he closes the top ten. In contrast to Babiš, he has increased his wealth by nearly CZK 1.5 billion to CZK 47.3 billion.
