    Central European Rally 2024 Starts on Thursday in Prague

    Last year, 125,000 spectators witnessed the spectacular debut of the Central European Rally

    The Central European Rally, taking place from 17th to 20th October in the border region between the Czech Republic, Germany, and Austria, offers motorsport enthusiasts the chance to see some of the world’s best drivers in action.

    The official start of the Central European Rally 2024 will take place on Thursday, 17th October, at 2:00 PM on the starting ramp in front of Prague Castle. Following this, the first special stage will be held at the Velká Chuchle horse racing track, accompanied by a supporting programme.

    Thursday, 17th October Schedule:

    • 9:00 AM: Fan programme at Velká Chuchle (including live broadcast of the shakedown and the start)
    • 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Autograph session with selected teams, Prague Castle
    • 1:20 PM – 2:00 PM: FIA “Meet the Crews” with invited drivers, co-drivers, and team representatives, Prague Castle
    • 2:00 PM: Opening ceremony with a large fan programme, Prague Castle
    • 3:00 PM: First special stage, Velká Chuchle

    The rally will then continue in Klatovy, where the second special stage will commence at 6:26 PM. On Friday, further stages will be held in the Šumava region. On Saturday, the rally will move on to Austria, before the awards ceremony takes place in Passau on Sunday.

    Last year, 125,000 spectators attended the spectacular premiere of the Central European Rally (CER). This year, the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) promises another four exciting days, as teams race across breathtaking asphalt tracks in the Czech Republic, Austria, and Germany.
