Czech Industry Photo: A Visual Journey Through the Diversity of Czech Industry

The travelling exhibition will be on display until August next year in ten cities across Bohemia and Moravia

In Jihlava, the photography exhibition Czech Industry Photo has opened its doors to showcase the diverse facets of Czech industry. The collection of large-format artworks, accompanied by their stories, celebrated its launch during the autumn market at Masarykovo náměstí and will be on view until 22nd October.

Czech Industry Photo aims to dispel prejudices about industry while highlighting the creative craftsmanship and technological innovations from Czech universities, start-ups, and companies. Entry is free, offering visitors the chance to discover the exceptional designs and traditional glass art of the region.

Lukáš Verner, an experienced glass artist from Vysočina, describes the creative process: “In creating my works, my team and I rely on traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations – from blowing, shaping, and layering to colouring the glass at high temperatures. Once the vase has acquired its basic shape, the polishers take care of the final shine and the precise details of each individual creation.”
