Halloween in the Prague Botanical Garden

The highlight of the evening is the festive parade of lights and lanterns

The Prague Botanical Garden invites everyone to an atmospheric Halloween celebration in the exhibition hall and the ornamental garden tomorrow, Thursday, 31 October, from 14:00. Visitors are very welcome—even in scary masks!

In the exhibition hall, guests can join a paper lantern-making workshop (cost: CZK 80; optional electric candle for CZK 15, cash only). Children and adults can also have their faces painted with Mexican skull designs or other Halloween motifs. A campfire, barbecue facilities, and live music set the perfect Halloween ambiance.

The ornamental garden offers numerous attractions for children, including a large carousel, a swinging goat, a bouncy castle, fishing games, and more. Refreshment stands will serve both savory and sweet treats like pancakes, waffles, trdlo, langoš, and soups. Children can enjoy refreshing lemonade, while adults can warm up with a delicious svařák.

    Stage Programme:

15:30–16:15: Scary Animals – songs, competitions, and games
16:15–16:45: Haunted Magic Nursery with Lucie Černíková, a performance for children
16:45–17:30: Haunted Animals – a segment featuring songs, competitions, and games
