    The Christmas Fleet of Prague’s Public Transport Company Will Kick Off the Christmas Season on 30 November

    The festive illumination of the decorated trams and buses will begin at 16:30 at the Královka turnaround loop

    The Christmas fleet (Vánoční Flotila) of Prague’s public transport company will once again bring a festive atmosphere to the city this year. A colourful parade of decorated trams and buses will launch on 30 November 2024, lighting up the streets of Prague with thousands of lights and winter decorations.

    On Saturday, 30 November 2024, Prague will shine in pre-Christmas splendour as the public transport company presents its festive Vánoční Flotila. The illumination of the trams and buses will start at 16:30 at the Královka turnaround loop (between the Malovanka and Marjánka stops). Admission to this event is free. About 15 minutes later, the Christmas fleet will depart for Náměstí Republiky.

    The parade will follow this route: Královka, Malovanka, Pohořelec, Brusnice, Pražský Hrad, Královský Letohrádek, Chotkovy Sady, Sparta, Letenské Náměstí, Kamenická, Strossmayerovo Náměstí, Veletržní Palác, Výstaviště, Nádraží Holešovice, Ortenovo Náměstí, Dělnická, Tusarova, Holešovická Tržnice, Vltavská, Strossmayerovo Náměstí, Nábřeží Kpt. Jaroše, Dlouhá Třída, and finally, Náměstí Republiky in the city centre.
