Škoda vehicles have once again proven their popularity among Czech corporate customers. The Škoda Octavia has emerged as the winner of the Flotila roku 2024 vote, earning the prestigious title of Fleet Car of the Year 2024.
Škoda Auto continues to dominate in the prestigious voting for the best fleet vehicles—a success the company has celebrated multiple times. This year, the best-selling Octavia topped the overall rankings, holding its own against strong competition.
“We are very pleased with this excellent result, which reaffirms the well-known strengths of our best-selling model series,” said Tomáš Duchoň, Head of Sales at Škoda Auto in the Czech Republic.
“Our customers value the reliability, quality, and high utility of Škoda vehicles. Additionally, low operating costs and strong residual values at resale are decisive factors for fleet managers. These advantages are clearly reflected in the ratings,” he added.
The overall winner was determined by an expert jury of nearly 200 fleet managers representing companies with both small and large fleets. The jury based their evaluations on personal experiences as well as insights gained during the official test day, held on 17 September 2024, as part of the Drivalia Test Drives – Fleet of the Year event at PVA EXPO Prague in Letňany.
During the event, jury members had the opportunity to personally test the 70 nominated models. Besides recognizing the best vehicles, the Fleet of the Year awards also celebrated outstanding fleet products and services, the Dealer of the Year, and the Electric Vehicle of the Year.
