The aim of the fair is to provide secondary school students with comprehensive information and advice to support them in making one of the most important decisions of their lives—choosing a degree programme after leaving school.

The fair features a wide range of accompanying programmes, information sources, and advisory services, all available to visitors free of charge.

A central part of the programme is the lectures by the exhibiting educational institutions, held daily in the lecture hall in Hall 3 of PVA Expo Prague. These lectures cover topics such as admission and study conditions for the academic year 2025/2026 and provide behind-the-scenes insights from students and graduates of the universities. A total of 44 lectures are planned over the three days of the fair.

For undecided pupils, the fair offers support through a test centre and study advice. Using a study type test, visitors can discover whether they are more suited to business, humanities, engineering, natural, or social science degree programmes. Based on the test results, the Counselling Service team will assist in selecting a suitable university, school, or degree programme.

As part of the accompanying ‘Science for Life’ programme, visitors can experience exciting scientific discoveries, technological innovations, robots, experiments, and other engaging content from technical and scientific fields of study.

The fair will officially open on 21 January 2025 at 9:00 a.m. in the lecture hall in Hall 3 of PVA Expo Prague. Further information and a list of exhibitors can be found on the website gaudeamus.cz/prague.
