The name Isaac Starobin has been connected with tasty BBQ in Prague for years. Many know Isaac from Manifesto, where his American-style grilling has long been a favorite. This January, he took the next step and opened his very own restaurant in Prague: Isaac’s BBQ – a paradise for meat lovers.
Isaac’s BBQ is located in the heart of Prague on Jungmannova Street, just a short walk from Národní třída, and is hard to miss. Both inside and out, the restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere where you’ll feel at home right away.
“I visited this place about six years ago and thought to myself that one day I’d like to open a restaurant here,” recalls Isaac Starobin. “And today, that dream has come true,” he told Prague Daily News with a smile. His passion and pride are evident as he talks about his new venture.
Isaac has spent his entire life working in the hospitality industry—whether in New York or the Czech Republic—but this is the first time he’s running his own restaurant. At Manifesto Anděl, Dirty Dog became a hotspot for grilled meat enthusiasts, and he has already wowed Berlin with his culinary creations.
The new restaurant opened mid-January and is already drawing a full house every evening. Isaac has carefully designed the cozy interior, which seats around 50 guests, and of course, the menu includes all his favorite dishes. As with the legendary Dirty Dog at Manifesto, slow-cooked meat at low temperatures remains the heart of the offering. Prague’s newest hotspot for meat lovers is already making waves on social media, with glowing reviews.
