In the 313th Prague derby, AC Sparta Praha triumphed over arch-rivals Slavia with a 2-0 win. After a goalless first half, Jaroslav Zelený and Lukáš Haraslín made the difference in the second half.
The biggest game the Czech Republic has to offer – that’s the Prague derby ‘S’. Its 313th edition was played on Saturday evening at Prague’s Letná, the home ground of AC Sparta Praha. After a goalless first half, Sparta won the match with two goals in the second half.
Sparta had several chances to score in the first half, but headers from Kuchta and Uchenna failed to deliver the much-needed opening goal for the home side. In the 27th minute, Slavia player Mojmír Chytel was sent off with a straight red card, and the visitors from Vršovice were forced to play with ten men for the rest of the match.

Six minutes into the second half, Qazim Laci took a corner kick, and Jaroslav Zelený (X) leapt highest to open the scoring. Just a few minutes later, in the 57th minute, Lukáš Haraslín (X) sealed the victory by converting a misplaced pass from the Slavia defence with a precise shot into the near corner to make it 2-0 for the home side.
