Den Vltavy 2025: Prague Opens the New Boating Season

Prague's shipowners, along with boat and pedalo hire companies, are offering a variety of activities and free boat trips next Saturday

With the arrival of spring, Den Vltavy 2025 (Vltava Day) is just around the corner! Next Saturday, 22nd March, will mark the official opening of the new shipping season in Prague, and once again, the members of the Vševltavský spolek association have prepared an extensive programme. Prague’s shipowners, alongside boat and pedalo hire companies, are offering a range of activities to experience the magic of the Vltava River.

The event is organised by the Vševltavský spolek association, which represents over fifty organisations and users of the Vltava River. A wide variety of activities awaits visitors, including free boat trips on various types of boats, exhibitions, water games, and much more. This year’s programme will, among other things, highlight military equipment to commemorate the end of the Second World War.
