Prague Airport Offers Direct Flights to 165 Destinations Worldwide in the 2025 Summer Timetable

Preparations for the summer season are currently in full swing and include an increase in staff as well as technical innovations

Václav Havel Airport Prague is launching the 2025 summer season with an expanded range of destinations and airlines compared to the winter season. From 30 March to 25 October, travellers will be able to choose from 165 destinations served by 75 airlines.

The most significant innovations include a direct connection to Toronto with the return of Air Canada, an increase in capacity on the route to Seoul with Asiana Airlines, and a new connection with Etihad Airways to Abu Dhabi. Short-haul flights are being expanded by Air Baltic with a connection to Vilnius, among others, meaning that Prague is once again connected to all the Baltic capitals. Another new route is Croatia Airlines’ service to Zagreb.

In addition to new connections, the summer flight schedule also includes an increase in the number of flights and seats, with weekly frequencies rising on more than 40 regular routes. These include more frequent flights to Greece, Italy, and Turkey. Larger aircraft will be deployed on selected routes, including the Airbus A380 on the route to Dubai.

‘The summer flight schedule reflects the continued rise in demand from travellers and the airlines’ ability to increase capacity and open new direct connections from Prague. This year, we expect a record volume of over 18 million passengers handled,’ says Jiří Pos, Chairman of the Management Board of Prague Airport.

London remains the busiest destination in the summer timetable with up to 100 flights per week, followed by Paris, Antalya, and Amsterdam. New additions to popular holiday destinations include Comiso in Italy, Zanzibar, and the Montenegrin capital Podgorica. Croatia Airlines is offering increased connections to Croatia with direct flights not only to Zagreb but also to Split and Dubrovnik. In addition to expanding the range of routes, capacity will also be increased on selected routes with larger aircraft and more frequent flights. The integration of new airlines, such as Condor, will also expand the transfer options for long-haul flights.

Passengers can find a detailed overview of available connections on the Prague Airport website, including a list of airlines offering flights to specific destinations.

    Preparations for the Summer Season

Preparations for the season are in full swing and include both an increase in staff and technical innovations. In the area of security control, new CT X-ray technology will be introduced at the central security checkpoint in Terminal 2 by the start of the summer season. A total of six X-ray machines will be installed, increasing the capacity of the security checkpoint by 20%.

Prague Airport is also pressing ahead with the expansion of self-service options in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The use of self-service bag drop and self-service check-in kiosks is increasing year on year, and more airlines have joined these services this year.

The newly renovated Mastercard Lounge opens in Terminal 1, offering travellers more comfort and additional capacity. Other innovations include the Flexi-Parking service, which combines parking at the POP Airport shopping centre with a shuttle bus transfer to the airport, the modernisation of the PC Comfort car park, and the option to pay at the express car parks directly at the exit barrier.

Temporary Relocation of the Bus Stop at Terminal 1

Changes to public transport will be implemented at Prague’s Václav Havel Airport due to extensive road repairs. The bus stops around Terminal 1 are particularly affected and will be temporarily relocated to facilitate more efficient traffic management around the airport. Further information can be found here.
