Double-decker buses with a unique 2 + 1 seating arrangement: Comfort comparable to first-class train and airline travel

RegioJet continues to focus on providing comfortable bus travel. From April, the Czech transport company will expand its fleet with 12 new double-decker buses featuring a unique 2 + 1 seating arrangement, offering travellers exceptional comfort comparable to first class on trains and aeroplanes. At the same time, RegioJet will expand its international routes with a new service to Warsaw and enhance its connection to Vienna Airport.

“RegioJet now covers all its international routes with the most modern double-decker buses,” says Dita Tomešová, Managing Director of Bus Operations at RegioJet. With the addition of 12 new vehicles, the company now operates a total of 32 luxury buses. The first batch of twenty vehicles was already deployed in September 2023 on key European routes, including Prague-Brno-Bratislava-Budapest, Prague-Berlin, Prague-Munich, as well as long-distance services to the UK, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Hungary, and Italy.

Summer Season and Connection to Croatia

This year, the company will once again offer daily bus services to Croatia. The season starts on 30th May and runs until the end of September. In the off-peak months, the services will operate three times a week, while during the peak season, which begins on 16th June, buses will run daily on the Prague-Brno-Bratislava-Split route. Tickets for the Prague-Split route start at 999 CZK (41 EUR). Additionally, the buses provide direct connections to nine popular holiday destinations, including Zadar, Šibenik, Trogir, and Split.

    Highest Comfort on Your Journey

The double-decker buses, with a capacity of 58 seats, are designed to provide maximum comfort for passengers. Compared to conventional buses, which can have up to 80 seats, they offer more space and privacy. The upper deck features an exclusive 2 + 1 seating arrangement, providing greater personal space and comfort on long journeys.

In addition to comfortable seats, passengers can enjoy fast Wi-Fi, 230V power sockets, and USB/USB-C ports for charging devices. Freshly ground coffee and drinking water are available free of charge, along with self-service machines offering sweet and savoury snacks, as well as chilled drinks.
