Next weekend, from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 September, wine lovers in Prague will have the last opportunity to taste excellent wines and enjoy a varied supporting programme at three different locations in the city.
27 and 28 September – Grape Harvest Festival at the Vltava River: The promenade between the railway bridge and Vyšehrad Rock will be transformed into a picturesque wine trail on these days. Visitors can sample wines from South Moravia as well as international specialities. In addition to wine tasting, there will be live music, modern gastronomy and themed competitions on stage. Admission is free.
28 September – Villa Richter Wine Festival: On Saturday, the St. Wenceslas Vineyard at Prague Castle opens its doors from 12 noon. Over 50 outstanding wines from Czech and Moravian wineries as well as from the St Wenceslas Vineyard itself will be available for tasting. Admission costs CZK 250 in advance, including a tasting glass. On site, visitors can purchase a tasting set with 10 tokens for CZK 300. Payment by credit card is possible.
29 September – Wine festival at Karlínské náměstí: The festival at Karlínské náměstí starts on Sunday at 11:00 am. In addition to a selection of wines from Bohemia, Moravia and abroad, the popular Bourch will also be served. Accompanied by delicious food and live music, admission is free.
