    Jazz of Four Continents 2024

This year’s Jazz of Four Continents festival continues in August at Jazz Dock Prague. This festival is one of the most diverse music shows in terms of genre, and tickets for individual nights are quickly disappearing. This week will offer performances by the international band Faela and the Austrian band Candlelight Ficus.

    Faela – Friday, August 9 at 21:00

The unorthodox international band, founded by musicians from Argentina, Chile, Spain, and England in Malmö, Sweden, plays a wild and raw mix of styles, from Argentine tango to Latin, cumbia, rock, gypsy jazz, and Balkan music. Formed in 2007, the band has played nearly 1000 concerts at festivals and clubs across Europe and South America.

Admission: Pre-sale standing room only 380 CZK, standing room only 450 CZK on the day of the concert. Limited seating available at high tables for two on the sides of the club: 1,100 CZK per seat.

Candlelight Ficus – Saturday, August 10 at 21:00

This Austrian funk band, which qualified for the national round of Eurovision in 2022, is inspired not only by funk but also by pop, soul, and R’n’B. Their original work is a symbiosis of positive energy, catchy melodies, fun lyrics, and a first-class groove. They have performed both in intimate club settings and on large festival stages. Notable performances in recent years include jazz festivals in Thailand, Greece, Turkey, Poland, and throughout the German-speaking region.

Admission: Pre-sale standing room 350 CZK, standing room 420 CZK on the day. Limited seating available at high tables for two on the sides of the club: 1,100 CZK per seat.
