Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week returns to the magnificent Palais Clam-Gallas

Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week (MBPFW) is a major event that combines business, culture and society and is modelled on international fashion weeks. This event is committed to shaping the Czech fashion scene, promoting local designers and discovering emerging talents.

From 29 August to 4 September, MBPFW will return to the historic premises of Palais Clam-Gallas. The palace, a prime example of baroque architecture, has been extensively renovated and offers a breathtaking setting for the fashion presentations, which will take place on two floors and in the building’s inner courtyard. The first presentation of this season already took place at the FW18 edition, and the event now promises a unique experience that combines the elegance of baroque architecture with the creativity of fashion.

A special highlight will be the pop-up ELLE RE-SEE SHOWROOM, which will be open to the public on Sunday, 1 September, at the Four Seasons Hotel Prague from 14:00 to 18:00. Selected collections by Czechoslovak designers will be presented here.

Lukáš Loskot, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week, is delighted that the event is returning to Palais Clam-Gallas: ‘The new concept of gala evenings that we introduced in the spring season has been very well received. We have therefore decided to continue this successful idea. The baroque style of the Clam-Gallas Palace will give the galas a special charm.’

The Prague Museum, which manages the Clam-Gallas Palace, is also enthusiastic about the partnership with MBPFW: ‘We are delighted that our museum will be able to co-organise Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week during its transformation into a modern museum institution. The combination of fashion and baroque sophistication will offer visitors a new art-historical dimension.’

The full programme of Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week can be found on the event’s official website. Tickets can be purchased in advance via goout.net.
